What ClutchCoach actually measures in your CS2 demos

10 Nisan 2026 · ClutchCoach

When you upload a CS2 demo, ClutchCoach doesn't just count kills and deaths. We run a full tick-by-tick analysis on the file to extract context that the scoreboard hides.

Positional data

For each round, we sample your position, utility state, and teammate distances at key moments — entry, first contact, post-plant. That lets us tell the difference between a cowardly hold and a disciplined anchor, or between an overcommitted peek and a calculated trade.

Utility usage

Smokes, flashes, molotovs — we log when they were thrown, where they landed, and whether they connected with the intended target. A flash that blinds a teammate is a very different event from a flash that blinds two enemies before your push.

Clutch situations

Every 1vX we isolate, and we compare your decisions against what the AI considers optimal given the information you had at the time. This is where most players leave the most rating on the table.

Why not just K/D?

Because K/D rewards the player who got lucky, not the player who made the best call. A 15-kill game where you were the last to know about executes is not the same as a 10-kill game where you called every rotation. The coach cares about the second one.

Upload a demo and see what it finds. It takes about 90 seconds.
